“Landscapes that speaks the language of peace”.

Artist Statement

“Sometimes, I paint to find peace — other times, to share it."

I paint atmospheric landscapes that exist more as emotional spaces than physical locations. Inspired by nature, memory, and quiet contemplation, my work explores stillness as a response to the intensity and pace of contemporary life. Through softened horizons, layered textures, and restrained palettes, I create paintings that invite the viewer to pause, breathe, and experience a sense of calm presence.

Working primarily in oils and acrylics, I build each surface intuitively, allowing the painting to evolve through gesture, erosion, and subtle shifts in color. I am drawn to atmospheric tones and muted transitions that evoke silence, distance, and emotional depth rather than literal representation. The landscapes emerge slowly—undefined yet familiar—like places remembered through feeling rather than observation.

My process is deeply connected to mood and sensation. I am less interested in depicting a specific scene and more interested in creating an experience: a quiet moment of reflection, solitude, or emotional release. Light, texture, and space become tools for conveying what cannot always be expressed in words.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, I am a self-taught artist who has painted throughout my life and returned to my practice with renewed dedication in 2018. Years of exploration, workshops, and experimentation have shaped my visual language and strengthened my connection to abstraction and atmospheric landscape painting.

Ultimately, my work offers a visual refuge—spaces of stillness where viewers can slow down, reconnect emotionally, and momentarily step away from the noise of modern life.
